Moving hundreds of photos between your phone, computer, and cloud storage can feel like a chore. The PhotoSync app changes that by transferring your media wirelessly, in full quality, and at lightning speeds.

This step-by-step tutorial will show you how to configure and use PhotoSync to move your photos fast. Prerequisites Before You Begin

Download the PhotoSync app on your mobile device (iOS or Android).

Download the free PhotoSync Companion app on your computer (Mac or Windows), or ensure your target cloud storage is active.

Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi network for maximum transfer speeds. Step 1: Select Your Transfer Target

Open the PhotoSync app on your mobile device. Tap the red sync button in the top right corner, or go to Settings to configure your target destination. You can choose from several options: Computer: For direct transfers to your Mac or PC. Phone/Tablet: For sending media to another mobile device.

Cloud/NAS: For uploading to services like Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or a local network drive. Step 2: Choose Your Photos

Return to the main gallery view within the app. Browse through your albums and select the media you want to move. PhotoSync gives you several efficient selection options: Manual Selection: Tap individual photos to select them.

Select All: Tap the selection icon to highlight every photo in the album.

Select New: Automatically highlights only the photos you haven’t transferred yet, saving you time and storage space. Step 3: Initiate the Fast Transfer

Once your photos are selected, tap the red sync button again. Select your target device from the list of detected available connections.

If you are transferring to a computer, make sure the companion app is running in the background on your desktop. The transfer will begin instantly, displaying a live progress bar with your current transfer speed. Step 4: Verify and Organize Your Files

Once the progress bar reaches 100%, check your destination device to ensure all files arrived safely. By default, PhotoSync preserves all original metadata, including dates, timestamps, and GPS locations.

In the app settings, you can also create custom sub-directories. This features automatically sorts your incoming photos into folders based on the recording date or album name, keeping your library organized without manual effort. To help tailor future tips, tell me:
